Brand : BECCA Product : Glow Lip Gloss Shade :  Foxglove -  muted plum with cool silver pearl CRUELTY FREE Binxcat's Musing:  I have a personal preference for opaque lip gloss.  There are occasions when I like a lighter gloss, however,  I try not to permit my personal taste to affect my reviews.  That said, Foxglove is pretty thin and almost watery.  I believe you can easily see this in the swatch.  Had the silver pearl actually been visible, I could have forgiven the thinness.  Sadly, I get little to no pearl at all - silver or otherwise.  I think if you like a thin gloss and are going for a MLBB look, this may be perfect for you.  That is most likely how I would use it. Brand Description:  A luxe, conditioning lip formula with the shine of a lip gloss, pigment of a liquid lipstick, and nourishing benefits of a lip balm.  3D light-reflecting pigments as well as ginger, peppermint oil, and a non-stinging peptide make lips appear fuller and smoother.

Brand :  Good Goth Product : Lipstick Shade :  Blue Metal -  dark electric blue with lots of shimmer (cream) CRUELTY FREE Binxcat's Musing:  I've been enjoying testing out Good Goth's new makeup line.  Blue Metal is a really amazing moody blue shimmer.  The product swatches smoothly and evenly and the shimmer is just the right intensity.  I find this shade to be a bit more unique among the blue lipstick offerings on the market. Brand : Lime Crime Product :  Venus III Pressed Powder Palette Shades : Beam (lit lilac w/ pink shift - iridescent shimmer) Beloved (minky lavender brown - metallic) Bliss (rosewood - matte) Dreamy (mauve - matte) Ecstasy (dried fig - matte) Heavenly (rich rose gold - iridescent shimmer) Paradise (bright fuchsia w/ blue glow - glow) Rapture (soft blush w/ blue flash - shimmer matte) CRUELTY FREE VEGAN Binxcat's Musing:  All of the shades in this palette swatched well without primer.  There was a slight dustiness, however, this did not effect the result.  The shade beam looks absolutely stunning foiled over Paradise.  There is a nice mix of finishes in the palette to create multiple looks.  The palette is a sturdy cardboard with a mirror inside the lid. Brand : Belladonna's Cupboard Product :  Pressed Eyeshadow Shade :  Judas - blackened dark purple CRUELTY FREE VEGAN Binxcat's Musing:  Judas is a highly pigmented shadow.  The shadow is somewhat soft so care must be taken in application to avoid kickup in pan.  Swatched with no primer. Brand :  ColourPop Cosmetics Product :  Ultra Satin Lip Shade :  Chance - warm vibrant pink CRUELTY FREE VEGAN Binxcat's Musing:  Chance is a high pigment lippie.  While the brand states it has a satin finish, I find that it is somewhat mousse-like and dries to more of a satin - leaning matte finish.  It is comfortable to wear, although at about the 4 hour mark it wanted to settle into lip lines.  No bleeding. Brand Description:  Ultra Satin Lip A creamy, bold lipstick with a satin finish. This formula has the same high percentage of pigments as an Ultra Matte Lip but contains emollient ingredients for added moisture, keeping lips looking fresh and feeling super comfortable. Though this lipstick is super long-wearing, it is not completely kiss-proof and does transfer. Brand : Make-Up Atelier Product : 5 Eye Shadows Palette Shade : T11  Blue Green Tones CRUELTY FREE PARABEN FREE Binxcat's Musing:  This palette is another great palette from Make-Up Atelier.  There is a nice mix of finishes with the blue/greens.  It's easy to create multiple looks form this palette alone.  The pigment is great - with the exception of the 4th darkest shade which needed to be built up.  I wore the 3 lightest shades and all 3 lasted all day without fading.  I note that I used the 3rd shade under my eyes as a liner and it did not budge.  Swatched with no primer. Brand :  Andy Candy Makeup Product :  So Sweet and Dreamy Pressed Glitter Shade :  Grape Soda - dark purple CRUELTY FREE VEGAN Binxcat's Musing:  BLOWN AWAY.  Seriously, deceased.  How does Andy Meredith do this?  I swatched Grape Soda with NO primer.  And look!  I shook my arm after swatching and there was almost no fallout.  Did I mention with no primer?!  LOL  Glitter is a tricky medium to get right for brands and Andy Candy has the secret.  I doubt I need to say that if you're looking for a pressed glitter you might want to try this one...the swatch speaks volumes for itself. Brand : KKW Beauty Collection :  KKW x Mario Product :  Gloss Shade :  Super Nude -  pale sheer nude with gold pearl CRUELTY FREE Binxcat's Musing:   I would not have purchased this shade if I had to do so as a single.  But, since I bought the KKW x Mario Bundle, it came with the bundle.  I am so glad it did.  Sometimes you need to step out of your comfort zone.  Super Nude is a sheer nude as stated.  the gold pearl is subtle and just enough to add a bit of sparkle and interest.  Since gloss, especially sheer gloss, changes appearance based on lip pigmentation, this one ends up being an absolute beauty on wear.  It is gorgeous on its own or used a a topper.  It can easily work for anyone.  I do not find it to be sticky. It will be a good allover/brow bone shade. The 3rd shade from the left had pigment issues as did the 4th shade. The bronze shimmer is fantastic - probably the best in the palette. The dark brown is very dusty. My counter was a mess during swatching because of the dustiness. the dustiness did not effect pigment but it did effect application. Brand : Ilia  Product : Lipstick Crayon Shade : 99 Red Balloons -  real red with a touch of blue CRUELTY FREE VEGAN PARABEN FREE GLUTEN FREE Binxcat's Musing:  This product has nice pigment.  Mea culpa on the swatches - the product wanted to pool under the template...it will apply much better on the lips.  It's creamy on application.  A disappointment for me though, is on me, it does not pull true red with blue undertones.  Instead, as you can see, it pulls warm.  (Note - my skintone is neutral.)  A side note, I remember the namesake song (and the subsequent covers) and, while it's catchy, naming a cosmetic product after a German anti-war protest song that talks about an apocalypse is an interesting choice... Brand : Artist Couture Product : Diamond Glow Powder Shade : Illuminati -  pearly champagne base with silver shimmering pearls CRUELTY FREE PARABEN FREE Binxcat's Musing:  In my opinion, Artist Couture makes some of the very best loose powder highlighters on the market.  Illuminati is a new addition to my collection.  On my skin, the champagne base is more noticeable than the silver pearl.  That said, in certain light, the silver is more visible.  This makes Illuminati and interesting highlighter to wear.  The product is buildable or blendable and does not emphasize pores.  I also love that this is a mutli-tasker as it is eye and lip safe.  Brand Description: A cult favorite!
