That's exactly what happened when I purchased this palette. I was very surprised when it swatched and performed as it did. Ulta's rainbow Dust palette is a beautifully collection of shimmery shades ranging from cools to warms. The pigment isn't overbearing but it is present enough to create beautiful eye looks bu using the shades on their own or as toppers. I got very little kick up in pan while brush swatching (no primer). For the price, this palette was a pleasant surprise.
