Sadly, it did not work for me for that purpose. While the shade swatches (no primer) beautifully and the wear is good, on my waterline, the shade pulled more peachy. The effect was to make my eyes look red/tired. The shade wore all day on my waterline but in the future I will be using this as an eyeshadow or a base.
