Binxcat's Musing:  I wanted to love this palette.  The packaging is to die for.  BUT alas, the shadows are not the same quality as the packaging.  Swatched with no primer, the metallics did exceptionally well.  The mattes, however, are another story.  As you can see, several of the mattes have some pigment issues.  They also did not blend out well or easily.  I thought it might be the case where sometimes finger swatching is not representative of actual use.  So, I decided to try to create a look using several shades.  I used Melanie all over the lid.  Then started with Sarah for the crease.  It took quite a bit to build up the intensity on the lid.  Next, I tried Carolyn for the mobile lid - same issue.  I tried patting Carolyn on to add some depth.  I tried 3 different brushes.  Finally I tried a damp application and at last got a bit of shift in my eye look.  At this point, I was so annoyed, I grabbed 2 other palettes to finish my look.  I don't know if there are batch differences or not but for me, I will most likely grab this palette for Melanie, Sylvia, and the metallics/shimmers.
