Brand: Nyx Professional Makeup

Product: Holographic Halo Eye Tint

ShadeAcid Blue - periwinkle blue

CRUELTY FREE

Binxcat's Musing:  I was excited for a less expensive version of the popular eye tint/holo trend.  I swatched Acid Blue and....no.  Just no.  There was barely any pigment and as for holographic...no.  Have I said no yet?!  I tried swishing teh wand through the product a number of times to try to get some semblance of pigment.  This can possibly be used as an eye topper but really, it's just not even worth the effort.

  1. I was wondering about this because it's so lacking in pigment that I think it would end up just looking like cruddy eyeshadow or faded shadow once applied. The idea of a sheer holographic eye tint is a cool one but it may be better in idea than in implementation if this is what it looks like.

    1. This is an easy skip. I agree, I love the idea but Nyx didn't pull it off with the formula for this blue.
