And yet, I've repurchased this mask (and yes you can see I'm into my second jar!) So getting the "banana" out of the way - the smell is NOT overpowering. In fact, combined with the other ingredients, it's quite pleasant. More importantly, this mask is phenomenal. I brush it on with a mask brush (on clean skin) and leave it on while I wash my makeup brushes. When I remove the mask with warm water, my skin is firmer/pores refined, refreshed, soft, and brightened . It literally looks like I'd been off to an expensive spa.
